I picked up this mount for a Vortex Venom. Had a hard time finding it on the website, but a quick email to ADM’s customer service and within a few hours I had a response with a link. (Thanks ADM) The mount itself is nothing fancy, nor does it need to be. It is perfect in function though. My red dot (Vortex Venom) fit perfectly, and using the ADM locking lever, clamped it down on my rail nice and secure. I think I had to tighten the lock lever adjusting nut just a turn or so and it was GTG. Just a note - with these types of mount, you don’t have to hammer or crank down the lever super hard, they are engineered/manufactured very well and a snug fit is all it needs. In short, this mount is just like every other ADM mount I’ve used (Aimpoint, and several of their ADM Recon scope mounts) It does exactly what it was designed to do, and it does it very well. I would definitely recommend this mount if you have a Burris FF or Vortex Venom and want to run it on your AR.
This SOCOM mount is the 1⁄3 co-witness mount. That’s my preferred optic height consistent with all my red dot equipped firearms.
